Supervisor: | MUDr. Jana Hlaváčová
Supervising institute: | LÚ
Teaching language: | Czech
Aims of the course unit:
The course objective is to make students familiar with the function of the human factor in aviation and its crucial influence on security and efficiency in the air transport.
Learning outcomes and competences:
The basic knowledge of quantitative and qualitative effects of outer and inner environment on the human organism, and human limitations in the air transport.
Prerequisites: | ||||
Knowledge of secondary school human biology.
Course contents: | ||||
The basic course determined for students majoring in flying and flight operation. It is concerned with the role of human factor in aircraft and efficiency limitation of human being with regard to its environment and peculiarity of human being as a living system - i.e. as 1. A species, 2. A healthy individual (physiology), An ill individual (pathophysiology), 3. An individual influenced by the superior nerve system (sociology). The content of the course results from JAR-FCL 1 regulations and was modified by the later JAR - FCL 3. The ICAO requires this training.
Teaching methods and criteria:
The course is taught through lectures explaining the basic principles and theory of the discipline. Exercises are focused on practical topics presented in lectures.
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes:
The course-unit credit requirements: participation in the course (80% at the minimum). Exam evaluation fulfils the University requirements.
Controlled participation in lessons:
Attendance at both lectures and exercises is compulsory (80% at least), and it is checked and recorded. The absence (in justifiable cases) can be compensated by personal consultation with the lecturer.
Type of course unit: | ||||
Lecture | 13 × 3 hrs. | optionally
Exercise | 13 × 2 hrs. | compulsory
