Aims of the course unit:
Learning of skills needed for public presentation of professional technical work.
Learning outcomes and competences:
Professional and formal aspects of diploma thesis elaboration. Improvement of written and oral presentation capabilities.
Prerequisites:
Professional knowledge of environmental engineering, with respect to diploma thesis subject.
Course contents:
Presentation of diploma thesis objectives. Content and formal aspects of diploma thesis elaboration. Principles of correct publication. Obvious errors of written text. Presentation of diploma thesis partial results.
Teaching methods and criteria:
The course is taught through exercises which are focused on practical topics presented in lectures.
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes:
The course-unit credit requirements: Active participation in seminars and two presentations of diploma thesis.
Controlled participation in lessons:
Attendance at seminars is obligatory. Two presentations of diploma thesis and written study are required.
