Aims of the course unit: | ||||
Students get basic knowledge about passive and active electronic components and about analogue and digital circuits. | ||||
Learning outcomes and competences: | ||||
An ability to design basic electronic circuits. | ||||
Prerequisites: | ||||
The basic knowledges from the theoretical electroengineering, nad mathematical logic (Bool algebra). The mathematic knowledges on 1st year technical university lewel. | ||||
Course contents: | ||||
Passive electronic components. Basic passive electronic circuits (especially filters). Basic semiconductor components (diode, bipolar transistor, unipolar transistor) - types, properties, linear models. Transistor in a linear regime (amplifier). Transistor in a switching mode. Basic principles of the inverter technique. Operational amplifiers - operation, properties, basic connections. Digital circuits - Boolean algebra, combination and sequential logic, logical circuits TTL and CMOS. | ||||
Teaching methods and criteria: | ||||
The course is taught through lectures explaining the basic principles and theory of the discipline. Teaching is suplemented by practical laboratory work. | ||||

Requirements for the classified accreditation: Laboratory lessons and checking tests Evaluation: Semester test: 10point Laboratory excercise: 25point Final test: 65point |
