Aims of the course unit:

The goal is to design a required aircraft part and to make necessary aerodynamic and strength analyses. |
Learning outcomes and competences:

Application of practical knowledge from lectures on aircraft wing design. |
Prerequisites:
|
Basic knowledge of aircraft design and aircraft structure strength. Orientation in aviation requirements. |
Course contents:
|
Design and stress analysis of aircraft wing according to individual assignments. A practical application of International Airworthiness Requirements, aerodynamic design and load of structures. |
Teaching methods and criteria:

The course is taught through exercises which are focused on practical topics presented in lectures. |

Course-unit credit requirements: submitting the report in a prescribed form and in time , positive evaluation of student’s work by a course guarantor. The evaluation of work is done individually and in accordance with FME BUT rules. |
