| The course is aimed at delevoping soft skills with the basic business English skills students will need in their future careers at B2+ level (upper-intermediate – advanced). | ||||
| Learning outcomes and competences: | ||||
| The course is aimed at developing soft skills and provides students with basics of business English at B2+ level related to their future professions. TThe focus is on spoken language and communicative skills. | ||||
| Prerequisites: | ||||
| The minimum entry requirement is the 7AZ exam, i.e. the English knowledge corresponding to B1 level. | ||||

| The course is intended to teach soft skills in English and provide students with the basics of business English they will need in their future careers. | ||||

| Language instruction as an extension of basic professional curriculum. | ||||
| Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes: | ||||
| Course-unit credit is awarded on condition of having attended the seminars actively and worked out assigned tasks. The overal evaluation reflects students' projects. | ||||
| Controlled participation in lessons: | ||||
| Attendance at seminars is compulsory and is systematically checked by the teacher. Students are allowed to miss two seminars. In well-founded cases, extra absences can be made up for after consulting the situation with the teacher. Attendance and active participation in classes are necessary conditions for taking an examination. |
