Aims of the course unit: | ||||
The course will familiarise students with selected technological methods focused on automated production procedures. |

Learning outcomes and competences: | ||||
Students will be acquainted with the general approaches applied in interpretation of technological variables and they will learn the special machining processes, especially for shaped and precision surfaces. |
||||
Prerequisites: | ||||
Students are expected to familiar with technological characteristics of cutting methods, machine tools, cutting tools. |
||||
Course contents: | ||||
Specialised parts of machining technology completing the study of engineering technology. They include selected specialised technological methods and knowledge with respect to automated production procedures. |
||||
Teaching methods and criteria: | ||||
The course is taught through lectures explaining the basic principles and theory of the discipline. Teaching is suplemented by practical laboratory work. |

Participation and their work in the exercises are systematically controlled. Compensation of absence will be determined by the teacher. |
