Aims of the course unit:
|
The goal of the seminar is to teach students about how to present their results to a wide competent audience. This will help them to prepare for their performance during the defence of the bachelor theses. |
Learning outcomes and competences:
|
Students will gain experience in presenting the results of their work. They may use these skills at the defence of the bachelor theses or later when working out the diploma thesis.

Prerequisites:
|
Students are expected to have certain knowledge acquired when working out the bachelor project. |
Course contents:
|
In the course of the seminars, students report (in a form of a fifteen-minute lecture) on their results obtained in working out the bachelor theses. |
Teaching methods and criteria:

The course is taught through exercises which are focused on practical topics presented in lectures.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes:
|
There is no exam. Students will be awarded a course-unit credit on condition of having attended the seminars actively and reported the bachelor theses. |
Controlled participation in lessons:
|
The presence will be checked. Absence will be allowed in justified case – to make it up, students will be required to get acquainted with the bachelor theses presented at missed seminars. |

1.-13.: Every week, one seminar will be held, where individual students will refer about their bachelor theses so that all students will be given one chance during the semester. The theses will be discussed by the audience immediately after they are presented. |
