| Aims of the course unit:

| The aim of the course is to apply the obtained knowledge and theoretical background on practical equipment or a process. |
| Learning outcomes and competences:

| Based on individual task and setting students are made familiar with working with simulation and other computer codes. |
| Prerequisites:

| Basic knowledge of the process engineering and use of computing programs. |
| Course contents:
|
| The term project provides students with practical knowledge of calculation in the field of process industry. Students make a design of equipment/units operations and process. They can also use standards and regulations to achieve reliable and safe operations. |

| The course is taught through exercises which are focused on practical topics presented in lectures. |
| Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes:

| Attendance at seminars of a term project, fulfilment the content and extent requirements of an idividual assignment. Producing a technical report including documentation. |
| Controlled participation in lessons:
|
| Seminars are obligatory, checked by a teacher. The form of compensation of missed lessons is solved individually with the teacher. |
