Academic year 2023/2024 |
Supervisor: | prof. Ing. Jozef Kaiser, Ph.D.
Supervising institute: | ÚFI
Teaching language: | Czech
Aims of the course unit:
The aim of the subject is to get familiar with computed tomography and practically demonstrate its possibilities in structural analysis and benefits in applied and basic research. For this purpose, the practical part is getting the same space as the theory and the student will participate on the real measurement and realize the own data analysis. The study includes explanation of X-ray generation, analysis of data reconstruction and image processing, so student can find its own interest according to his/her background. |
||||
Learning outcomes and competences:
Getting familiar with basics of this technique both theoretically, and practically. The knowledge about the possibilities state of the art laboratory CT systems and their applications in science. Capability of reliable CT data reading and brief overview about 3D analysis using professional software. |
||||
Prerequisites: | ||||
Finalized master thesis in appropriate field.
