| The course familiarises students with work of power engineering plants. | ||||
| Learning outcomes and competences: | ||||
| The student will obtain overall knowledge power engineering and power machines. | ||||

| Course contents: | ||||
| The course provides students with basic knowledge of power generation engineering. The power machines include thermal cycles, steam boilers, gas and steam turbines, and power plants including environmental impact. | ||||
| Teaching methods and criteria: | ||||
| The course is taught through lectures explaining the basic principles and theory of the discipline. Exercises are focused on practical topics presented in lectures. Participation in the exercise is mandatory. | ||||
| Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes: | ||||
| Credit requirements:successfully passed a test during the semester. The examination consists of an oral and written parts. | ||||
