Aims of the course unit:

The aim of the course is to gaining skills to spatial depiction of reality focusing on composition of objects, their volume and mutual proportions. Emphasis is placed primarily on the correct schematic drawing of the object, processing of contour lines and the proportional relations of the whole, as well as on the artfully cultivated representation of materials, textures, shades and shadows. The course enables students to develop techniques of drawing more complicated objects based on knowledge of drawing of partial objects with emphasis on the character of the whole in terms of spatial relations and material composition.
