Aims of the course unit: | ||||
The aim of the course is to gaining skills to spatial depiction of reality focusing on composition of objects, their volume and mutual proportions. Emphasis is placed primarily on the correct schematic drawing of the object, processing of contour lines and the proportional relations of the whole, as well as on the artfully cultivated representation of materials, textures, shades and shadows. The course enables students to develop techniques of drawing more complicated objects based on knowledge of drawing of partial objects with emphasis on the character of the whole in terms of spatial relations and material composition. |

The essence is a realistic perspective view of the assembly according to the physical model. The basic structure of the work unfolds from the whole to the detail, that is, from a schematic drawing to a realistic recording, including self and cast shadows, showing the volume and shape of each part of the composition. |
