The course introduces students to the practical use of commercial software for Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) in engineering practice. The instruction covers the complete workflow for solving CFD tasks, from geometry preparation to simulation result evaluation. Students will learn:
The tasks include 2D and 3D geometries, fluid flow, heat transfer, and transient calculations. The course takes place in a computer lab and is based on independent student work using ANSYS tools (Discovery, Fluent Meshing, Fluent). At the end, students will have the opportunity to obtain official certification for Ansys Fluent from an external organization. |
