Particle Optics (FSI-TCO)

Academic year 1999/2000
Supervisor: prof. RNDr. Bohumila Lencová, CSc.
Supervising institute: ÚFI all courses guaranted by this institute
Teaching language: Czech
Aims of the course unit:

Learning outcomes and competences:

Prerequisites:

Course contents:
The course deals with optics of particles with nonzero resting mass of
electrons and ions. Besides creation and treatment of electron- and ion
beams, the attention is focused also to the generation, detection and
measurement of spectral characteristics of fluxes formed by these
particles. By attending this course students are enabled to comprehend
and deepen their knowledge about how the most important technological and
analytical devices used in the field of surfaces and thin films work.
