Academic year 2018/2019
Supervisor: doc. Ing. Miloslav Haluza, CSc.
Supervising institute: all courses guaranted by this institute
Teaching language: Czech
Aims of the course unit:
Introduces the basics of the design of hydraulic power plants, waterworks and city waste water treatment plants is the goal
Learning outcomes and competences:
Knowledge of theory, simulation methods, of the basic approach to design, technology and operation of the hydraulic power plants, waterworks and municipal waste water plants
Prerequisites:
Knowledge, during the previous courses of Hydromechanics and Pipe engineering obtained, is the pre-requisite
Course contents:
Hydraulic power plants design - the basics of the water power is presented as to range, scope, technologies, structure, operation, control, measurements and economy of the plants.
Municipal Wateworks and Sewage Works design - the basics of the waterworks and the municipal waste water treatment plants is presented as to range, scope, technologies, structure, operation, control, measurements and economy.
Teaching methods and criteria:
The course is taught through lectures explaining the basic principles and theory of the discipline. Teaching is suplemented by practical laboratory work.
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes:
