Aims of the course unit: | ||||
To acquaint students with the technical procedures for the development of modern vehicles in the concept design phase. | ||||
Learning outcomes and competences: | ||||
Students will acquire ability to design a new vehicle concept according to the assignment, understanding the context and the collision between the individual requirements for the new vehicle. Ability to design partial design nodes of the concept with regard to production technology, aerodynamics, design and structural properties. | ||||

Machine Design Fundamentals, Strength of Materials | ||||
Course contents: | ||||
Mastering the process logic and continuity in the development of a new vehicle from the first task to define the prototype. Simultaneous consideration of manufacturability, material concept, technical requirements, standards and functionality. | ||||

The course is taught through exercises with computer support. | ||||

Participation in seminar, solve of problems and answers on control questions. | ||||
