Teaching Profile

Study gauranteed by the institute

The institute provides for education within a wide scope of the field of study using the latest methods including the full application of computers. The syllabus covers the construction, testing and operation of bodies, chassis, steering and braking systems, spark ignition and compression ignition internal combustion motors and their fuel injection systems, supercharging and control systems for motor-cars and tractors, hoisting and transport equipment, construction, treatment machinery and agricultural machinery.

Scientific Profile

Projects solved by the institute

In scientific research the Institute works, either in the form of grants or by directly co-operating with industry, on the problems of the internal combustion machines and motor vehicles, Stirling motor development and transport related environmental issues. In the construction and transport machinery field it does research mainly into road construction machinery and its control as well as the logistics of the transport and manipulation systems.

Professional Collaboration

The Institute has established links with the following institutions abroad: Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdegurg, TU Keiserslautern, TU Dresden, TU Achen, TU München, Robert Bosch GmbH Stuttgart.
