Supervisor: | doc. Ing. Vladimír Habán, Ph.D.
Supervising institute: | EÚ
Teaching language: | Czech
Aims of the course unit:
The goal is to introduce possibilities, advantages, limitations and technologies of the transport of substances and energy by pipeline.
Learning outcomes and competences:
Knowledge of possibilities, advantages, limitations and technologies of the transport of substances and energy by pipelines. |
||||
Prerequisites: | ||||
Knowledge obtained during the previous course of Hydromechanics is the pre-requisite.
Course contents: | ||||
The course deals with pipes and pipe networks for the transport of liquids, gas, sludge, raw materials, energy, etc. Problems of steady and unsteady flow numerics, pumps, valves, in-situ measuring, and surge are also solved. Knowledge in the field of the design of water-, oil-, gas-, heat-supply systems and sludge delivery piping is the goal of the training.
Teaching methods and criteria:
The course is taught at lectures explaining the basic principles and theory of the discipline. Exercises are focused on practical trying topics presented in lectures.
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes:
Conditions for granting credit: Seminars and written tasks on the excercises. The examinations and the final classification of the course: Credit and oral exam. |
||||
Controlled participation in lessons:
Seminars and written tasks on the excercises
