Aims of the course unit: | ||||
To facilitate the students' exam in the subject Electrical engineering and electronics and the processing of bachelor theses. To get a practical view of electrical engineering. | ||||
Learning outcomes and competences: | ||||
To deepen and above all to broaden the knowledge in the field of electrical engineering and electronics with respect to possible future requirements. | ||||
Prerequisites: | ||||
Prerequisites and co-requisites Knowledge of mathematics and physics is assumed to the extent discussed in the previous study at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. | ||||
Course contents: | ||||
The content of the course is to extend knowledge in the field of electrical engineering and electronics, especially in relation to the subject taught in subject 6EE - Electrical engineering and electronics. | ||||

Exercise | 1. Introduction, basic elements, solution of DC circuits - basic distribution of circuits, basic elements, solution of DC circuits 2. Alternating circuits, transients - alternating quantities, passive elements in alternating circuits, solution of alternating circuits, transients, three-phase quantities 3. Semiconductor devices - semiconductors, diodes, transistors, thyristors 4. Power electronics - rectifiers, converters, switched power supplies 5. Magnetic circuits, transformers - magnetic materials, basic magnetic quantities, transformers 6. - 9. Rotating electrical machines 10. -11. Electric drives 12. Electrical devices, electrical installations - elements of electrical installation, protection, switching, safety 13. Sensors with electrical output - types of sensors, AD conversion, properties of measuring elements (sensors and inputs) |
