Aims of the course unit:
The aim of the course is for students to work out and deliver the diploma project in given terms.
Learning outcomes and competences:
Students will be made familiar with general principles of working out a project. They will be able to elaborate the documentation for the solved technical problem.
Prerequisites:
The knowledge, obtained in the course of previous study.
Course contents:

The course is concerned with the lead of students during their retrieval activities, special literature studies for preparing their diploma project and with the rules of technical texts writing. The focus is on independent work of students. Assignments of project topics from industrial practice are appreciated.
Teaching methods and criteria:
Supervised student's work on master's thesis.
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes:
1. Attendance at exercises 2. Fulfilling the regular check conditions – the terms will be given in individual assignments at the beginning of the semester
Controlled participation in lessons:
Will be specified individually at the beginning of the semester by the diploma project leader.
Type of course unit:
    Supervision of Master’s thesis  1 × 156 hrs. optionally                  
Course curriculum:
    Supervision of Master’s thesis There are no regular classes within the course. The course is designed for independent work of students on a diploma thesis at home or in the laboratories of FME.
Literature - fundamental:
1. Individuální, podle pokynů vedoucího diplomové práce. (Individual, following the suggestions of the leader of the diploma project).
