Academic year 2023/2024
Supervisor: Ing. Jan Vančura, Ph.D.
Supervising institute: ÚADI all courses guaranted by this institute
Teaching language: Czech
Aims of the course unit:
To acquaint students with the technical procedures for the development of modern vehicles in the concept design phase.
Learning outcomes and competences:
Students will acquire ability to design a new vehicle concept according to the assignment, understanding the context and the collision between the individual requirements for the new vehicle. Ability to design partial design nodes of the concept with regard to production technology, aerodynamics, design and structural properties.
Prerequisites:

Knowledge of 3D CAD modeling and basics of dynamics.

Course contents:
Mastering the process logic and continuity in the development of a new vehicle from the first task to define the prototype. Simultaneous consideration of manufacturability, material concept, technical requirements, standards and functionality.
Teaching methods and criteria:

The course is taught in the form of lectures and exercises with computer support.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes:

The final grade is given by the overall evaluation of the exercises and the exam.

The exam is realized in the form of a test or an online test.
