Aims of the course unit:

The aim of the course is for students to work out and deliver the diploma project in given terms.
Students will be made familiar with general principles of working out a project. They will be able to elaborate the documentation for the solved technical problem.

The knowledge, obtained in the course of previous study.

Course contents:

The purpose of the course is for students to work individually on solving the diploma project. The course is focused on the improvement of individual creative work, analytical verdict and rating of students' abilities, all computer-assisted. Support in planning, organization and control of project. This course helps students with their work plan, searching works, collecting data and study of professional data.

Project specifications from industrial companies are appreciated.

Teaching methods and criteria:
 
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes:
  1. Regular consultation with the supervisor of the diploma thesis (at least once a month).
  2. Submission of the unfinished diploma thesis according to the deadlines specified in the E-learning.
  3. Submission of the final version of the diploma thesis.

    Supervision of Master’s thesis  13 × 12 hrs. compulsory                  
Course curriculum:
    Supervision of Master’s thesis There are no regular lessons – students work at home or in the faculty labs. The diploma project is worked out under the guidance of a supervisor.
