    conference paper
    akce: VIBROENGINEERING 2017, Katowice, 26.09.2017-28.10.2017

This paper considers the influence of the change of the inclination angle of the directed compaction force on the quality of the vibrated subsoil. To determine the quality and intensity of the compacted soil the absolute and relative methods of measurement are used. During the experimental measurement the quantities, from which the compaction effect of the vibratory roller on the subsoil can be determined, were monitored. The physical properties of the subsoil also influence the quality of the compacted subsoil.

This paper deals with conceptual design and the creation of a real tracked chassis. It briefly describes the process of designing a tracked chassis from the initial conditions, a description of the structure and a critical comparison with the real model. The resulting design is patented as a utility model. The prototype is tested under real conditions

    conference paper
akce: Transport Means 2016, Juodkrantė, 05.10.2016-07.10.2016

The article deals with the identification of input parameters and experimental validation of an off-road tire computational model. The model has been developed to solve contact tasks between wheel and soil. Computational model is based on a discrete element method. Experimental validation was performed by using a tired wheel TS-02 5.00-12 of VARI system. To identify input parameters, series of tasks were performed in order to measure dynamic behavior of the tire. Measurements were carried out in laboratory environment using a high-speed camera.

    conference paper
akce: Transport means 2015, Kaunas, 22.10.2015-23.10.2015

This paper deals with the problem of creating the geometry and its subsequent conversion to obtain a virtual terrain, which represents the force effects on a virtual model of wheeled machine. Although the issue of a multi-body simulation is well researched and several specialized software products exist and allow the creation of complex machinery, there is insufficient support for creating of the virtual terrain geometry that would describe the real terrain. It is assumed that the shape of terrain and the way of interaction between the terrain and wheeled or tracked vehicle have a considerable influence on the results of the vehicle dynamic analysis. Furthermore, Road4 is also presented. This is a program which allows conversion of externally created geometries to *.rdf files.

This article deals with the issue of designing a computational model of tire using discrete element method, applied at solving tasks in terramechanics, particularly contact tasks between wheel and soil. In particular, the focus is on evaluating the application of this method and description of the generated model. The paper also presents the results of a simple task, in which rolling and bouncing of tire wheel on rigid base is simulated.
