If exacting and complicated technological operations are applied at titanium machining, it is not acceptable to set positions of the particular motion axes at the machine tool with too big position uncertainty. For this reason, it is necessary to manufacture all components of motion axes very precisely. However, manufacturing precision has some economic and technical limits. After the opti-mum limits are exceeded, it is useful to perform electronic compensation of me-chanical motion elements. This paper describes the essential principles of mecha-tronic compensation and it also shows some practical results.

    book

The ever-increasing legal requirements imposed on safety of production machines cause difficulties to enterprises which do not have sufficient personal resources for consistent implementation of risk assessment process. This publication presents (with regard to Directive 2006/42/EC) a simple and effective approach to realization and documentation of the risk assessment process in production machines with an emphasis on its transparency.
