      This paper presents the application of modern equipment (optical gyro) at flight measurement of light aircraft. The paper is dealing in detail with performed measurements of longitudinal dynamic stability of aircraft. Dynamic stability control presents one of the important parts of flight characteristics analysis of atmospheric aircraft. The dynamic stability calculations, following aircraft from its primary design, have great influence on the final aircraft appearance. The suitability of proposed aircraft design, and possible modifications, will appear just during the flight tests. The results of tests are used for the verification of designed aircraft stability and control and for the verification of applied theory as well.

      Analysis of aeroplane dynamic stability with six degree of freedom

      The computational model was applied for investigation of the dynamic stability with six degrees of freedom at real aeroplane, where the mutual very strong aerodynamic couplings of longitudinal and lateral-directional motions, caused by the interference between wing and fuselage, were demonstrated by the results from the wind-tunnel tests.

      The paper is dealing with the possibility to use the flying laboratory built on the basis of the L-13 "Vivat" motor glider. The analysis of the whole conception is done with indication of the way od measurement of aerodynamic characteristics of profiles. The computations and experimental verifying of basic characteristics of a motor glider must be done before flying breaking in.

      A linearized analytic model of general longitudinal movement of airplane is discussed. Linearized deviation equations of motion, derived in stability axes system, are applied to the parametric analysis of airplane's longitudinal dynamic stability under arbitrary symetric flight conditions.

      Parametric Analysis of the Sailplane Longitudinal Dynamic Stability

      The linearized analytic model of general longitudinal movement of the sailplane is discussed. The analytic model is generated on the form of an inter-active programming product PODYST. This is used to show the effect of some mass and geometric parameters on the short period and phugoid motions following the disturbance from selected reference flight condition.
