Industrial Robots and Manipulators III (FSI-GRO)

Academic year 2020/2021
Supervisor: Ing. Jan Vetiška, Ph.D.
Supervising institute: ÚVSSR all courses guaranted by this institute
Teaching language: Czech
Aims of the course unit:
Acquisition of expanding knowledge and skills in programming, digital commissioning, realization and testing of robotized workplaces. The content of the course is practical training of digital / real commissioning and testing of proposed motion paths and algorithms of robotized workplace.
Learning outcomes and competences:
On the basis of practical demonstrations in individual lessons they will be able to work independently in the field of robot programming, digital commissioning, realization and testing of robotized workplaces for various technological operations (handling, palletizing, gluing, welding…).
Prerequisites:
Knowledge from courses: industrial robots and manipulators I, industrial robots and manipulators II and robotic workplaces design and programming.
Course contents:
The course is a follow up to the knowledge of industrial robots and manipulators I, industrial robots and manipulators II, and the robotics workcells designing and programming. It extends existing knowledge about modern trends in robot programming in individual technological applications. And it further expands the knowledge and skills of digital commissioning, realization and testing of robot production systems.
Teaching methods and criteria:
The course is taught in the form of exercises, which have the character of synthesis knowledge from industrial robots and manipulators I, industrial robots and manipulators II, and robotic workplaces designing and programming supplemented by meeting with practitioners.
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes:
The exam consists of a presentation of an individual project, which will be given in the introductory lessons and oral exam from the topics discussed.
Controlled participation in lessons:
Checking of knowledge by exam
