Educational and professional goals
	Branch „Production Systems (Double Degree) is guaranteed by the Institute of Production Machines, Systems and Robotics (ÚVSSR), Brno University of Technology and the Institute of Production Machines and Production Systems (IWP) at TU Chemnitz (Germany). Both partners, thanks to many years of close cooperation, have common background in research and teaching, which enables them to offer to students a wider spectrum of courses within the field of mechanical engineering production. This also allows for a wider graduate´s profile: IWP provides the courses on properties of production machines, development of structures of machinery, forming technology and virtual reality; ÚVSSR teaches construction of production machines, production systems and robotics
Admission requirements and access to further studies
	Condition for admitting is obtaining a bachelor's degree. The graduates may continue in a doctoral study programme.
Examination and assessment regulations, required practice
	The respective rules and conditions are specified by the Dean's Regulation No. 7/2011. Required practice and its length may be specified by study plans.
Conditions required in the course of study and the duly completion
	Students have to complete all compulsory and compulsory-optional courses required by study plans (at least of 120 credits). Further conditions are given by the set of study rules.
Final examination
	Final examination consists of master's thesis defence and reviewed discussion. Both the professional level and the form of presentation of the thesis are evaluated during its defence. The aim of the discussion is to prove the level of learning outcomes and competences acquired, especially in the field related to the master's thesis.
