This paper deals with corrosion behaviour of the AlCu4Mg1 wrought aluminium alloy with 99.5% Al coating on the surface. Corrosion tests were performed as a modified OECD technique in two different kind of corrosion environment (aqueous solution inclusive 0.1 mol of urea and solution inclusive 0.1 mol of NaCl dissolved in the water). The main goal of this work was assessed the influence of urea at aluminium alloy in the aqueous solutions.

The main objective of this contribution is the numerical investigation of the properties in polymeric particulate composite. The composite was modeled as a two-phase continuum (using representative volume element) and numerically simulated on a microscopic scale using finite elements method (ANSYS). For calculations of the composite Young modulus finite element model with respect the elastic-plastic model of polymer matrix (polypropylene) was used. The numerical results with experimental data were confronted as well as the data for modeling of primary matrix was determinate from experiment.
