Academic year 2018/2019 |
Supervisor: | doc. Ing. Jan Fiedler, Dr.
Supervising institute: | EÚ
Teaching language: | Czech
Aims of the course unit:
The course objective is to make students familiar with the design of industrial equipment and apparatus used in environmental technologies
Learning outcomes and competences:
Students learn how the selected machinery is designed and extend their knowledge of the function and purpose of single industrial apparatus used in various areas of ecology.
Prerequisites: | ||||
Basic knowledge of elasticity and strength of structures, mechanics, theory of materials and details of machines. |
||||
Course contents: | ||||
The course provides students with a survey of machinery applied to the protection of the environment with the emphasis on its construction. The course extends students` current theoretical knowledge by practical areas of the design of a single machine, apparatus and whole manufacturing lines exploited in the area of adjustment and recycling the waste, in ecological power industry, at biodegradation waste-processing, at liquid cleaning and ecological waste-processing and waste deactivation. The emphasis is put especially on the general design of machinery applied to the area of ecological performance and as on the design of particular machinery and its single parts specific for given area of a procedural technology. |
||||
Teaching methods and criteria:
The course is taught through lectures explaining the basic principles and theory of the discipline. Exercises are focused on practical topics presented in lectures.
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes:
Course-unit credit requirements: Active attendance at seminars. The exam has written and oral parts, students have to prove their theoretical and practical knowledge.
Controlled participation in lessons:
Active attendance at seminars is checked. The written report has to be done when training was missed. This report has to be produced for verification. |
||||
