Aims of the course unit:
The objective of the subject is focused on deepening knowledge in the electrical machine field, especially familiarization with their special designs.
Learning outcomes and competences:
According to the syllabus, the students will acquire the enhanced knowledge in electrical machines.
Prerequisites:
Knowledge in the principles of electrical machines is assumed which the students have acquired, for example, during the study for a master’s degree.
Course contents:
The subject is focused on the special lectures on electrical machines. It takes up knowledge from the previous study, and besides it enhances the theoretical knowledge. The emphasis is laid on the special designs of electrical machines which are applied in mechanical engineering and electrical engineering.
Teaching methods and criteria:
The course is taught through lectures explaining the basic principles and theory of the discipline.
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes:
The prescribed scope must be studied by the students to go in an examination. The examination consists of a written test, and the maximum scoring rate of this test is 100. The subject is classified according to the ECTS classification scale.
Controlled participation in lessons:
The subject consists of lectures and consultations, the students’ participation shall be checked.
