Aims of the course unit:
The aim of the course is to show students how to properly present their results in the form of charts, logs, reports, presentations.
Learning outcomes and competences:

Students will learn the basic principles of typography and publication of the results.
Prerequisites:
No special knowledge is required.
Course contents:

The course covers publishing documents with graphics and equations using LaTeX.
Teaching methods and criteria:
The course is taught through exercises which are focused on practical topics presented in lectures.
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes:
Course-unit credit is awarded on condition of creation own document of the form of report or presentation.
Controlled participation in lessons:
Absence has to be made up by self-study and possibly via assigned homework.

1. Computer typesetting. Typography
2. LaTeX system. Installation.
3. Typesetting mathematical formulas.
4. Inserting Images
5. Creating tables.
6. Cross-references, contents, index.

8. Creating images - Inkscape. Image Editing
9. Charts - SciDAVis. Experimental data processing - function fitting, statistical processing.
10. Sample report on experiment processing.
11. Presentation - Beamer
12. Check of students documents.
