Adaptation of semi-actively controlled magnetorheological damper for motorcycle chassis

Supervisor: doc. Ing. Ivan Mazůrek, CSc.
Specialist: Ing. Jakub Roupec, Ph.D.
Description:
The aim is to adapt current magnetorheological damper with semi-active control with respect to dynamic and kinematic drive conditions, which are specific for motorcycle. Particularly, the small difference between sprung and unsprung mass, high increase of sprung mass at drive with co-driver, and tilt of machine at passage through the curve. This thesis has the experimental character with focus on algorithm adaptation and its experimental verification on new designed stand enabling simulation of machine tilt during curve passage.
